The Best Ant on the Road is the BlueAnt

Road safety has been getting a lot of press lately.  With Oprah’s push to end “texting and driving” is now become a big topic as is should be.  Keeping your eye on the road and not the cell phone will reduce accidents and save lives.  That’s where technology comes in.

If you’re fortunate enough to have a built-in in car Bluetooth communication system, ie a speaker phone built into your car stereo, then go ahead and skip this post.  But if you don’t, like myself, then you need to start marching in line with the Ant… The Blue Ant S4.

I’ve reviewed other Bluetooth speaker systems and I think the BlueAnt S4 is the best.  Why? Clarity, ease of setup and, of course, functionality.  The BlueAnt S4 features a sensitivity setting which will eliminate background noise and listen to your voice with clarity.  “BlueAnt, speak to me.” is all you say to activate its functions.  That’s right.  That’s all you say.  You might be like myself where you forget the commands to get the function you want to perform.  That’s cool, because you just say “What can I say?”
and it lists out what functions you can use.  Since its Bluetooth, you don’t have to worry about pairing  after the initial setup, so long as you keep your phone’s Bluetooth function on.  It will let you know its paired once you come in signal distance.  And talk about distance.  I have to remember to turn it off when I pull into my garage as it still picks it up when I am in my den at home.  That’s strength.   There is a battery saving mode too so you won’t have to worry about charging.

If you have an Andriod phone, there are Apps you can download that will read your email and texts through the speaker.  There is a free iPhone app that does the same, however, the premium service to read email and text does cost you some cash… up to $10.

All in all, with all these great features, the BlueAnt S4 car speaker is top notch.  Trust me, this is the one you want as it will delivers safety, superb functionality and to be quite honest, a companion on those long drives (I sometimes talk to it just to break up the silence, just don’t tell anyone that.)
I was not compensated for this review.

Rock forth, Mitch
