Space shuttle

I suppose NASA’s space shuttle program has been a part of my life. I saw the very first one take off in the early 80s and I was home sick with mono when the shuttle exploded in the 80s.
I had the opportunity to walk beneath the space shuttle a few years back too.
I took the kids outside to see this one. It took off at dusk so the entrails [-sic] (contrails – thanks Antney )were really bright. One of the perks of living in Florida.

  1. The Space Shuttle does not leave behind "entrails", the word is "contrails", a shortened version of 'condensation' trails. Entrails are intestines.

  2. You are completely correct and I am embarrassed that I didn't catch that. Being a weather dude makes it even worse. I put a link to your site and attributed your correction. Thanks for stopping by.Mitch
