Saturday Mornings

Today’s show was pretty good.  We had Marty Krofft on the show.  If you’re under 30, you probably don’t know who he is.  Maybe you do.  The Krofft Kid Super Power Hour (With Shazaam) was the Saturday morning staple.  I got a autographed  H.R Pufnstuf from Marty.  That baby is NEVER going to be opened.  How cool is that? Only having Charles Nelson Reily sign it would be the pinnacle.

Today’s cartoons suck.  There’s no other way to say it.  I was a big fan of The Simpsons, but I think that show should have closed shop a few years back.  Futurama did the trick, but like other great Fox shows, it was canceled.  I guess Family Guy will give me the new fix I need, however, it would be nice to have a little of some of that 70’s cartoon magic back into Saturday mornings.  After all, I get up real early on Saturdays because of my sleep schedule.  I usually just watch TiVo.

Side note– We did the Trash or Worth the Cash segment today.  We tried out THE MAGIC BULLET.  It’s a blender thingy.  It’s worth the cash.  Just shop around…they range from $39.95 to $89.95.
