About Mitch

An actor, stand-up comedian, weatherman and more all rolled in one, Mitch English is the “spark plug” of The Daily Buzz. He’s definitely known for his quick wit, unpredictability, but yet, serious weather knowledge. (Yes, he did study it) He’s been with The Daily Buzz since Day 1.

Before coming to TDB, Mitch hosted a morning talk show at KUWB-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah, served as the Senior Weather Anchor at WTVY-TV in Dothan, Alabama and has also anchored weather at WCBS-TV in New York City. “In the biz” since 1990, Mitch is married and the proud Father of four awesome kids.

You are sooo funny. I need a laugh to swallow the serious news. Keep up the good work. Saw vid on YouTube might interest you since it involves a toddler being cute and innocent Just type in “Little girl plays with dead squirrel” it’s 2min 40 sec and it will make you laugh and go EEWWW at the same time. Worth a view!

    hi mitch,

tomorrow is my birthday and since i watch you all the time i have a bday dare for you. you’re so funny and silly and sweet that i hoped you wouldn’t mind another way to be silly for me and my baby (kaley-11). kaley would love to watch someone tickle you on air the way she used to tickle her daddy but i thought it would be funnier and more of a challenge for you to do an entire segment from beginning to end on camera while someone is secretly (not seen) tickling your sides or bare feet just to see how well you can keep your composure and not let on what’s happening to you, although kaley would love to see you crack up. lol

would you mind this once for me and my kaley? if you do, would you let us know in my email or with a visual cue on air when it’s going to happen?

    thanks mitch
